EXTERIOR
The exterior of this trailer is all aluminum. It is built like an airplane with riveted construction for long life and durability. The exterior body is in very good shape. The aluminum skin is .050” thick.
Frame. Frame is steel angle which has surface rust but everything appears to be good and solid.
Dents scratches and damage. Exterior has some very minor dents and dings but overall is nice and straight.
Entry door. Has two 36“ x 32“ entry doors, one on both sides. Both doors have original Bargman locks which are in good working order but no keys. Both doors have a 20“ x 14“ area with screens that open up for ventilation.
Front hoist. Does have what looks to be an original front hoist with a wheel but the bracket is bent and needs reinforced. The jack does crank up and down fine.
Hitch coupler. Has the original hitch coupler made by Foremost Products. The hitch coupler works ok but the spring that holds the coupler closed is broken. I used a c-clamp to keep the coupler from releasing when I towed it back to my shop.
Roof. Roof is all aluminum with riveted construction . No tar or roof coating has ever been put on it .
Exterior lights. Has the original Bargman Trail light #2 bases and bezels but the original glass lenses are missing. We do offer reproduction lenses for this on our website. Newer round tail lights have been added in the rear plus it has magnetic LED tail lights and turn signals which are all in working order.
Underbelly. The underbelly is the bottom of the plywood floor which is in decent condition.
INTERIOR
Interior has a 75” long by 58” wide sleeping area which narrows to 36 inches
at your feet because of the wheel wells. The wheel wells are on the inside of the body rather than on the outside like most teardrops. The interior has a storage compartment in the front which is 60 inches wide and 8” deep. It has a shelf in the rear which is 60” wide and 20 ½” deep.
Floor. The floor is plywood that has had a piece of quarter inch hardboard add it on top of it.
Unit sleeps. Room for two adults and one child.
RUNNING GEAR.
Has the original axle with leaf spring suspension. The wheel bearings have been inspected and repacked. Leaf springs have surface rust but appeared to be good and solid.

Hitch ball height. Approximately 14”.
Safety chains. No.
Hitch weight. Approx. 80#
Hitch ball size. 1-7/8”.

Spare tire. No.
Tire condition. Tires are in poor condition but I did have new tubes put in them so that I could tow it home. I towed it over 150 miles with no problems. If you are far from Indiana I would recommend brand new tires or hauling it on a flatbed.
