EXTERIOR
Description: This is a very desirable and hard to find trailer which has riveted construction. The exterior has some aluminum panels which are beat up but they are all flat panels which is a pretty easy repair. The interior is in very nice shape for a 69 year old trailer. Questions?? Call Dan at 765-473-8088.
Bumper, Frame, & A-frame: It has a 3 inch steel channel frame, which has surface rust but appears to be good and solid in all areas accessible for inspection.
Compartment Door/Keys: It has a nice 44" x 12" compartment door. The door is in good shape but it has been screwed shut and we have no keys.
Dents, Scratches & Damage: There are several panels which have dents and scrapes but most damage panels are down low and are just flat aluminum, which are relatively easy to change.
Entry Door/Keys: It has the original aluminum entry door, which is in pretty good shape. It has the original L handle and interior lock box, which is in working condition but we have no keys. The door has old seals, which should be replaced. It has the original aluminum rear entry door, which is in good condition. It has a replacement L handle but still has the original lock box. The L handle does not open the door from the exterior but it opens fine from the inside. There are no keys. This door has old seals, which should be replaced
Entry Step: It has the original slide out entry step, which slides out but one side needs re-welded. There is no rear entry step.
Front Hoist: It has 1000 pound side wind front hoist, which is in working condition.
Hitch Coupler: It has the original hitch coupler with 2 inch ball. The hitch coupler is in working condition.
Roof: It has the original aluminum roof, which has no apparent damage. It looks like all three of the roof vents have been removed and have been patched over.
Screen Door: It has the original front wood screen door. It has been painted but still appears to be in pretty decent shape. It also has the original rear wood screen door but the wood is damaged on the bottom 6 inches.
Tail, License & Marker Lights: It has all four of the original beehive style marker lights with steel bases and glass lenses. All glass lenses appear to be in good condition. Steel bases do have some surface rust. It has the original license plate light and bracket. The clear bottom lens and the red glass lens are both in good condition. It has Dietz 550 taillights, which spells out stop on them. I don't know if these are original but they are old and very cool. All stop, tail, and turn lights on the rear of the trailer are in working order.
Underbelly: The original underbelly is approximately 70% intact however some areas have had new foam installed.
Window Glass/Seals: This has the original Marvel brand steel windows. These windows are famous for rusting out at the very bottom. Four of them are rusting out at the bottom and two of them aren't in real bad shape. One is sealed shut so I don't know what kind of condition it's in. All the windows have the original hardware and screens except for the front window, which is missing the lift arm and the screen is in trailer loose. All glass is good except one window has a small crack in the corner. All windows will need new seals.
