EXTERIOR
Description: The exterior of this trailer is in very nice condition. It is very original and intact. It has aircraft grade aluminum that can be polished up to a mirror like shine. This is a nice little vintage camper which can be pulled with almost any SUV. Questions?? Please call Dan at 765-473-8088.
Bumper, Frame, & A-frame: This trailer has a 2“ x 4“ C channel frame, which has been boxed at the A-frame for extra strength. There is a small area at the back of the A-frame that has some rust holes on the bottom of the frame. This would be a pretty easy fix with a small piece of 2 inch C channel. The rest of the frame and A- frame looks solid in all areas accessible for inspection with only minor surface rust.
Compartment Door/Keys: No.
Dents, Scratches & Damage: This trailer has some very small dents and dings but overall the exterior skin is very straight.
Entry Door/Keys: It has the original aluminum entry door with the original Bargman brand L 66 lock. The lock functions properly but there are no keys. The exterior skin on door is in good condition.
Entry Step: It has the original entry step. This step has “OWOSSO” stamped into it. The step is rusty but functions correctly.
Front Hoist: It has the original front hoist, which is in working condition.
Hitch Coupler: It has the original coupler, which is in working condition.
Roof: It has the original aluminum roof and original steel vents. Roof has had roof coating put on seams at one time. There is no apparent damage to the roof.
Screen Door: It has the original wood screen door, which is in fair condition.
Tail, License & Marker Lights: It has all of the original exterior lights. It has four of the beehive style marker lights with steel bases and glass lenses. The steel bases have surface rust but all of the glass lenses appear to be in good condition. It has the original Bargman brand Trail-light number 2 tail lights with glass lenses and stainless steel bezels. One of the glass lenses has an internal crack but I cannot feel the crack on the outside of the lens. The original tail lights and turn signals are in working condition. It has the original Bargman brand Trail-light number 4 license light. The red glass lens has a chip on the edge and clear lens is missing. Reproduction Red and Clear lens are available on our parts e-store. Aluminum base is in good condition.
Underbelly: It has the original underbelly, which was under coated from the factory and looks to be in good condition.
Window Glass/Seals: It has the original Woodlin brand aluminum windows. Several of the windows have broken or missing window levers so we have taped the window shut on the exterior. All windows do have screens. There is no broken, cracked, or missing glass. All windows have old seals, which should be replaced.
INTERIOR
Description: The interior of this trailer is very nice. It has the original Birch woodwork, which is in nice condition. It has the original appliances with the exception of the furnace, which is missing. It also has the original light fixtures and cabinetry.
Cabinet - Closet Doors: Yes, they are original and in good condition.
Catches: Yes, they are original and in working condition.
Countertops: Yes, it has the original countertops, which are white with gold specks and it also has the matching backsplash. The backsplash is in good condition but the countertop is very worn.
Floor: The floor is solid throughout.
Floor Covering: It has the original Linoleum with a multicolor vintage pattern. The floor is in good condition with the exception of a small area by the entry door.
Table: It has the original fold-down table. The tabletop is in good condition with only minor wear. One corner of the table has some minor damage.
Unit Sleeps: This unit sleeps up to four people.
Walls: It has the original Birch paneling, which is in very nice condition for a 1953 trailer. It does have some small water stains under the front and rear window and a water stain by the rear bed.
RUNNING GEAR
Description: It has the original running gear with the exception of brand new tires and rims. This trailer was towed over 400 miles with no problems.
Axle/Springs: It has the original axle with original leaf spring suspension. These have surface rust but all appears to be in good condition.
Dry Weight: 1720 pounds
Hitch Ball Height: Approximately 19 inches.
Hitch Ball Size: 2 inches.
Hitch Weight: Approximately 172 pounds
Hub Caps: No.
Safety Chains: No.
Spare Tire: No.
Tire Conditions: It has two brand new 7:00-15 LT 10 ply tires mounted on new non-split rims. Rims have six lugs on 5 1/2 inch bolt circle.
FURNISHINGS
Description: This trailer has a box spring for the rear bed but other mattresses and curtains are missing.
Bed/Mattresses: It has 48“ x 74“ box springs in rear but no mattress.
Couch/Gaucho: No.
Curtains: Just on front window.
Dinette Cushions: No.
ELECTRICAL
Description: It has the original electrical system with 30 amp screw in fuse. 110 V lights and outlets are in working condition. Entire Electrical system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
110 Volt Lights: Yes, it has all the original lights, which are in working condition plus an additional light has been added over the table.
12 Volt Int. Lights: Yes, it has one 12 V light on upper kitchen cabinets, which is in working condition.
Brakes: Yes. The trailer has brakes, which are in working condition but they are not wired up into the plug.
Breakaway Switch: No.
Converter: No.
Int. Fan(s): No.
Plug for Ext. Lights: Yes, it has a four way flat plug like most boat trailers use.
Porch Light: No.
RV Battery: No.
LP SYSTEM
Description: Yes, it has the original LP tank and holder. It has the copper line going to the back but the copper line is not hooked up to the tank. Entire LP system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
Auto Changeover: No.
Furnace: No.
Gas Bottle(s): Yes, it has the original 20 pound LP cylinder. The tank will need a new OPD valve.
Gas Light(s): No.
Gas Regulator: No.
Range/Oven: Yes, it has the original Meynell brand 2 burner gas stove, which is in working condition. The stove does have the original grates, which are in good condition.
Refrigerator: Yes, it has the original Marvel brand 110 V refrigerator. The refrigerator fan and compressor do run but it does not cool. It may just need to be recharged.
Water Heater: No.

PLUMBING
Description: It has the original plumbing with a copper freshwater supply to the kitchen faucet and a rubber drain hose from the kitchen sink drain. I did a visual inspection and did not find any cracked, broken, or missing lines. Entire Plumbing system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
Air Pump: No.
Fresh Water Tank: No.
Kitchen Sink: Yes, it has the original kitchen sink. The porcelain is in nice condition but there are a couple of small areas that have been touched up.
Lavatory: No.

Water Intake Valve (City): Yes.
Water Pump: No.
SPECIAL
Description: I do not buy too many wood frame trailers but this one was too nice to resist. This trailer will need minimal work to be usable or could be restored and be a real showstopper. This is a small lightweight trailer, which can be pulled with almost any SUV.
