EXTERIOR
Description: Price Reduced! This old Vagabond has been in my personal collection for years but I think I'm ready to let it go. If you can get past the beautiful paint job on this trailer the exterior skin is actually very straight and dent free. The exterior is very original and all the exterior skin and roof is aluminum, I did not find any steel panels like some Vagabonds had. Questions? Please call Dan at 765-473-8088.
Bumper, Frame, & A-frame: The frame has some surface rust but appears to be good and solid in all areas accessible for inspection. The rear bumper and very rear cross member is bent.
Compartment Door/Keys: Yes, it has a 33“x 12“ compartment door on the rear. It is missing the L-handle and will need some work.
Dents, Scratches & Damage: The worst dent I could find on this trailer is a 4 inch diameter dent on the street side rear of the trailer up high near the roof. Other than this dent you really have to hunt hard to find even the smallest dent. Overall the exterior skin is very straight and very sweet.
Entry Door/Keys: It has the original style Vagabond entry doors with inner steel frames and aluminum exterior skins. The aluminum skins are in good condition but they do have some minor oxidation at the bottom. The doors have the original Bargmen brand L-66 locks, which are in working order but there are no keys.
Entry Step: It has the original slide out steel steps, which are in working condition but do have some surface rust.
Front Hoist: It has the original front hoist, which is in working condition but could stand to be lubricated.
Hitch Coupler: It has the original hitch coupler with 2 inch ball. The coupler is in working condition.
Roof: It has the original cambered aluminum roof and all original vents with the exception of the furnace vent, which is missing and has been covered with a tin can to keep the water out. A cambered roof is a lot better than a flat roof for several reasons. It sheds water better and is much stronger so it can handle heavier snow loads in winter climates. The entire roof has been coated with cool seal roof coating but some is peeling. We have scraped all the roof seams and re-sealed them with Polar Seal. You can read about Polar Seal on our parts e-store under sealants.
Screen Door: It is missing the front screen door, it originally had a sliding screen door. It does have the original rear wood screen door, which is in good condition but some of the wood screen door jam has rotted out especially at the bottom.
Tail, License & Marker Lights: It has the original Bargman brand trail-lite number 6. Lenses have stress cracks and are showing a lot of wear. None of the original beehive style lights are currently mounted on the trailer. However, There are two of these lights in a drawer of the trailer. Both glass lenses are in good shape and the bezels are there also. It has the original Bargmen license plate light. The glass red lens and the clear cylindrical lens are in good shape.
Underbelly: It has the original underbelly, which is 90% intact. Some of the insulation board at the very front and very rear has deteriorated some.
Window Glass/Seals: It has most of the original windows. One picture window is missing the frame and has had Plexiglas installed in the jam. Several windows have bad or missing operators. All windows except one have screens. All windows have old seals, which should be replaced.

Cabinet - Closet Doors: It has the original birch cabinet doors, closet doors, and drawers. All of these are in very nice condition.
Catches: Original.
Countertops: It has the original yellow cracked ice countertops with matching backsplash. The countertop and backsplash is in good condition.
Floor: The floor is solid in all areas except one very small area by the rear door.
Floor Covering: It has carpet in the bedroom area, which in fair condition and has 70’s era Linoleum in the rest of the trailer. The Linoleum itself is in pretty good shape but it is curling up on the edges.
Table: Yes, it has a 50’s era table with yellow Formica, Aluminum edge trim, and very cool chrome legs. There is also an extra leaf for the table in the closet. It has two 50’s era chrome chairs also.
Unit Sleeps: The trailer is set up now to sleep 4 people but there’s plenty of room in the trailer if you needed to sleep more.
Walls: It has the Birch paneling on the walls and ceiling, which is in good condition there is a stain in one of the ceiling panels in the dining area, which is approximately 12 inches long and 4 inches wide. There is a water stain where the furnace vent goes through the roof.

Plug for Ext. Lights: Yes, it has the seven way plug like most current RV’s use.
Porch Light: Yes, it has the original porch light on the rear and a newer porch light on the front. Front porch light works and I think the switch is bad for the rear porch light.

Refrigerator: Yes, it has the original Frigidaire 110 V refrigerator. We turned it on and it does cool.
Water Heater: No.
PLUMBING
Description: It has the original plumbing with copper fresh water lines and copper and brass drains. There is one line going to the laboratory that has been replaced with polybutylene. I did a visual inspection and did not see any swollen or cracked waterlines. However, the water heater was removed from this trailer so the lines going to the water heater are not capped so we could not test the water system with air. Entire Plumbing system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
