EXTERIOR
The exterior of this motorhome is dirty but is in very good shape. It has an all fiberglass exterior and looks to be built very well. The exterior is very original and intact.
Bumpers & frame. Frame has surface rust but appears to be good and solid in all areas. Bumpers are original bumpers which have peeling paint but otherwise are in good condition.
Compartment doors. Has aluminum or fiberglass compartment doors to access the battery, the LP tank and the sewer outlet.
Dents, scratches and damage. The only damage I see to the fiberglass is a small area on the left rear trunk. It has a 4 inch tear at the bottom.
Entry door. Has the original fiberglass entry door which is in good shape. Has the original Bargman brand L-300 lock which is in working condition and we do have keys. The interior vinyl covering on the door has a wrinkle at the very bottom.
Step. Has the original slide out step. Has surface rust but is in working condition.
Roof and vents. Has the original roof which is also fiberglass has all the original vents with the exception of the bathroom has a brand new roof vent cover.
Windows. Has the original slider windows with aluminum frames. Windows appear to be in good condition, however some of the window handles have come unglued from the windows. It looks like all the opening windows do you have screens.
INTERIOR
The interior of this motorhome is un-restored but in very, very nice condition. This is a one owner motorhome which has been very well-maintained and very well cared for. Cabinet and closet doors. Yes. Original in very good condition.
Catches. Yes. Original
Countertops. Has the original green countertops which are in good condition.
Floor. Floor is solid throughout.
Floor covering. Has the original green shag carpet which is missing in the kitchen area and in fair condition and the rest of the unit.
Table. Yes. Has the original dinette table which folds down into a bed. The Formica needs re-glued in a few areas.
Unit sleeps. Six persons. The dinette folds into a 72“ x 40“ bed, the rear gaucho folds into a 79“ x 54“ bed and there is a 77“ x 42“ upper bunk.
Walls. Walls have the original Green vinyl which is in very nice condition overall. There is some loose vinyl above the windshield. Ceiling has the original ceiling panels which are also in good condition.
RUNNING GEAR
This motorhome is on a International chassis and has a V-8 motor. This motorhome has been sitting in a persons backyard for approximately 20 years so it will definitely need some work on the chassis, running gear and motor. Currently, all the wheels are locked up because they were sunk into the ground.
Tires. Has older tires which are 7:50 R 16 Michelin radials which do you have weather checking. All of the tires are holding air with the exception of one of the right rear duals.
FURNISHINGS
All of the original furnishings are still with this motorhome.
Gaucho. Yes, still has the original rear gaucho with the original green and yellow plaid cloth and green vinyl. The seats do you have a couple of rips in the upholstery. Curtains. Yes. Has the original green curtains which are in fair condition . Several do have water stains . The curtains were always closed in this motorhome when it was in storage which helped preserve the interior.
Dinette cushions. I’m guessing that these dinette cushions were re-upholstered because they are in very good shape and I found some extra material in one of the closets.
ELECTRICAL
Has the original electrical system. All interior lights and outlets are in working order. Entire electrical system and appliances should be check by a certified expert before use.
12 V lights. Yes, has the original 12 V lights which are in working condition. Several are missing the plastic shades.
Converter. Yes. Has the original converter which is in working condition. The converter converts the 110 V to 12 V so that you can have lights off the converter with 110 power or from the battery.
Interior fans. Yes. There is a fan above the stove which is untested.
Porch light. Yes. Has the original porch light .
RV battery. Yes, has a battery but I’m sure it is no longer any good.
LP SYSTEM
Has the original LP system which is un-tested. Entire LP system and appliances should be checked by a certified expert before use.
Furnace. Yes. Has the original Suburban brand gas furnace which is untested.
Gas bottle. Yes. Has the original mounted LP tank which is steel and very rusty.
Gas lights. No.
Gas regulator. Yes.
Range oven. Yes. Has the original Coleman brand stove with three burners on top and oven on the bottom and is untested.
Refrigerator. Yes. Has the original Instamatic brand gas-electric refrigerator. Refrigerator is untested.
Water heater. Has the original American Appliance brand electric only water heater which is approximately 6 gallons and is untested.
PLUMBING
Has the original plumbing with copper fresh water lines and ABS drains. I did a visual inspection and did not see any disconnected or cracked lines. Plumbing system and all appliances should be checked by certified expert before use.
Air pump. No.
Freshwater tank. Yes.
Kitchen sink. Yes. Has the original two bowl stainless steel sink which is in very good condition.
Lavatory. Yes. Has the original molded fiberglass lavatory which is in very good condition.
Sewer holding tank. Yes.
Shower. Yes. Has the original shower which is a wet bath set up.
Toilet. Yes. Has the original Thedford brand Aqua Magic toilet. Un-tested.
Tub. No.
Waste holding tank. No. RVs of this year did not have gray water holding tanks but the gray water does go into the outlet so that it can be dumped.
City water intake valve. Yes.
Water pump. I would guess so but it’s underneath the bed so I did not actually locate it.
SPECIAL
This motorhome is going to need some mechanical work since it sat for so long but the interior and exterior is in really nice condition. If you are a man or woman with good mechanical skills this might be the perfect project for you.
OTHER
Generator. Yes, Has the original Onan 4.0 gas generator. Un-tested.
Air-conditioning. Yes. Has what I believe is the original Duo-Therm brand Brisk Air roof air conditioner. Untested.
Owners manual. Yes, it has the original StarCraft owner’s manual along with the original International Harvester service manual. These manuals have a wealth of information in them.
Owners paperwork. Yes, I would guess that there is every receipt for what he spent on this motor home. Has stacks of original owners paperwork with this unit.
