After 50-60 years of service most wood screen doors have seen their better days. Our custom made oak screen doors are built by an Amish furniture builder with old world craftsmanship. Yes, he even uses dowel rods to connect the framing just like Spartan did in the 1950s. Door is sold less hardware. Screen door has extra strength black fiberglass screen. This door can be purchased with a golden oak stain and varnish or can be purchased un-finished. These screen door will only work with Spartans that have square door jambs this approximate size. These are made so that they can be used on a right hand or left hand door. Just flip the door 180 degrees to change from one to the other. Most 1953-1954 Spartans originally had wood screen doors. Most 1955-1958 Spartans has aluminum screen doors. These screen doors should work for either application.
