Product Description
This striker plate is for 1947-1953 Spartans and Spartanettes with Bargman brand L-54 and L-55 locks. It is made from 16 gauge (.058 inch) stainless steel and is very close to the original. It does not have the small grooves cut into the back surface which mounts to the trailer. We have found that a small piece of duct tape installed to the back of the striker plate will help keep the striker plate from sliding. The last 2 photos are for reference only. The recessed plate which the stiker plate mounts to is not included with this part.
