Tear Drop Style Clearance Light - Amber

The photo shows two wires. Mine has only a single, black wire. That means my lights (two amber and two red) are grounded by the included screws. I added a white, 12 gauge ground wire tom the front screw to connect to the skin for better grounding. I used 8x32 stainless steel machine screws to mount it. I aded the grounding pigtail by attaching crimp-on connectors at each end: one goes on the front mounting screw with a nylon locknut holding it in contact with the light’s body; the other crimp-on connector goes under the nylon locknut that holds the light to the coach. A stainless steel washer under each mounting screw provides a huge surface area where I scraped away the black stuff Spartan sprayed on the skin’s underside. The light is long enough it doesn’t conform to the coach’s shape as well as I like, but the thick foam should seal OK. I put silicone around the hole where the wires enter the coach just to be sure it says dry and the wires don’t rub on the skin.
